How to Buy Airtime

You can buy airtime for MTN and Airtel instantly:

  1. Open the UpSend app and log in
  2. Tap "Airtime & Data" on the home screen
  3. Select "Airtime"
  4. Select the network (MTN or Airtel)
  5. Enter the phone number (yours or someone else's)
  6. Enter the amount you want to buy
  7. Review the transaction details
  8. Enter your PIN to confirm
  9. Wait for the confirmation message

How to Buy Data Bundles

To purchase data bundles:

  1. Open the UpSend app and log in
  2. Tap "Airtime & Data" on the home screen
  3. Select "Data Bundles"
  4. Select the network (MTN or Airtel)
  5. Enter the phone number
  6. Choose your preferred bundle (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
  7. Select the specific bundle (e.g., 1GB, 5GB, 10GB)
  8. Review the transaction details
  9. Enter your PIN to confirm
  10. Wait for the confirmation message

Available Data Bundles

UpSend offers various data bundle options:

  • Daily Bundles: Valid for 24 hours (500MB, 1GB, 2GB)
  • Weekly Bundles: Valid for 7 days (5GB, 10GB, 20GB)
  • Monthly Bundles: Valid for 30 days (50GB, 100GB, Unlimited)

Airtime for Others

You can buy airtime for other people:

  • Enter the recipient's phone number instead of yours
  • The airtime will be sent directly to their phone
  • They will receive a confirmation SMS

Failed Airtime/Data Purchases

If an airtime or data purchase fails:

  • Ensure the phone number is correct
  • Check that you have sufficient funds
  • Verify the network is correct (MTN or Airtel)
  • Ensure the recipient's line is active
  • Contact support if the issue persists
